Natick, a town resting within the Middlesex County of Massachusetts had a population of 32,170 according to the 2000 census.
The city is warmly recognized by its residents as the Home of Champions, recalling the presentation of the cities firefighting squad at the 1891 National Hook and Ladder competition.
The town name Natick created from the speech of the Indian family identified as the Massachusett, meaning "place of hills."
