Happy New Year - 2010!

These are interesting times that many of us have never experienced.  The good news is that the interest rates have fallen below 5 percent for conforming loans.  I am refinancing my Wellesley home at 4.875% and saving almost $600/mo.  If I then apply that savings ($600) to my mortgage I will pay my loan off in just over 19 years versus the 30-year note.

That is fantastic news!

I am actively working with many buyers and sellers who are taking advantage of this market.

• 1st time home buyers are getting wonderfule homes are very low interest rates
• Move-up buyers are trading up and finally getting the home that was previously out of reach AND at a very good interest rate
• Sellers -  Inventory of homes for sale is low. People are holding off waiting to sell. It's a great time to sell as there is not a lot of competitive homes available. (BUT, you must price your home right on the money!)
